History
In November 2000, Mike Podratz started SC Coatings Corporation with the desire to provide a higher standard of work and an empowering employee environment. After 11 years in the commercial painting trade, Mike was eager to grow his own business. In 2001, Victor Lopez joined SC Coatings Corporation as an owner and Vice President. With a combined 22 years of commercial painting industry experience, SC Coatings Corporation was dedicated to acquiring strong contract relations with highly regarded and influential General Contractors.
It is SC Coatings Corporation goals to provide an empowering employment experience. By providing weekly tail-gate safety meetings and having an open door policy, communication with management is not only encourage but required. SC Coatings Corporation provides employees with opportunities for personal and professional growth, with incentives whenever possible. SC Coatings Corporation offers benefits to all full-time employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
SC Coatings Corporation is registered with the Department of Defense. SC Coatings Corporation vigorously bids state and government contracts. By providing jobs with a competitive salary, and a SUB (Supplemental Unemployment Benefit) program for deferring fringe benefits, that allows employees to control their benefits according to hours underworked.
